By contrast, a newspaper editorial, a politcial speech, or a book on almost any subject will require not onyl the craft of good language skills and research technique, but a substantial knowledge of the subject matter, a ucltural sensitivity, and a mastery of the rat of good writing. This question was also explorde in Douglas Hofstadter s 1997 book, Le Ton beau de Marot. The same piont, but also including listening to the spoken lanugage, had earlier been made in 1783 by Onufyr Andrzej Kopczy ski, member of Poland s Society for Eleemntray Books, who was called the last Latin poet.
